What is Bike Party?

Changwon Bike Party is a group bike ride open to any and all bike riders and Nubija subscribers. It happens the 2nd Saturday of every month. Every Bike Party has a different starting point and a different route and is typically around 12-20 KM. Also every ride has a costumed theme! Bike Party is about engaging with your biking and local community. Bike Party allows us to explore and engage with neighborhoods and even cities that we might not explore or engage with otherwise. Bike Party is first and foremost a PARTY! There is music, and costumes and all kinds of celebrating!! So dress up and get on your bikes and ride!!!

FEBRUARY BIKE PARTY- LOVE RIDE-- ROUTE

Love is in the air this February Bike Party for Changwon Bike Party's Love Ride.

FRIDAY, FEB 9th.

Arrive 10:30PM. Ride leaves at 11:00PM

February Ride: Love Ride!

Dress up for the love ride in any way you want to show your love.

Join us as we ride through the February night air, our hearts ablaze full of amour. We will ride Yongji-dong, to Bongnim-dong to our final destination at Changwon's most famous Jimjilbang in Palyong-dong where we can warm our fiery hearts.

Here is our route:

We start at the gate to Yonji-dong. (Red Flag)

We will then ride to Changwon Jungang Train Station (Green Flag #1)

From here we will ride to our second stop, a nice park in Bongnim-dong (Green Flag #2)

From here we haul to Changwon's most famous Jimjilbang in Palyongdong (Blue Flag)

When is it?

2nd Friday of every month. Meet at 10:30PM.

The ride begins at 11PM.

Where does it start?

There is a different start point located in the the Changwon-Masan-Jinhae area each month. Check the site.

Where do you ride to?

The pre-planned route goes changes every month

I have Nubija and I'm concerned about the 2 hour time limit.

Bike Party will revolve around Nubija stations. All stops will have Nubija station access considerations.

How long do you ride for?

About 12 km - 20km miles (7 - 12 miles)

I'm out of shape, can I actually do this?

Bike Party is not a race. Bike Party is not even much of a workout. We have group stops every about every 8 km where can hang out, blast some music for 20 or so minutes so you may have time to rest. Most people have no trouble completing the ride, although your legs and butt might be feeling it in the morning!

I don't have a bike.

I have a friend- can (s)he come?

YES!! Bike Party is for EVERYONE!

What if it's raining?

Bike Party is a rain or shine event. Bring the right gear and you'll be ok.

How We Ride

If you follow these eight rules, Bike Party will be safe and a positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community

1. Stay in the Right LaneNEVER ride against oncoming traffic.
2. Leave Nothing Behind
3. Stop at Red Lights.
4. Ride Straight, Ride Predictability.
5. Roll Past Conflict.
6. Leave No One Behind.
7. Ride Sober! It’s illegal and dangerous to ride a bicycle inebriated.
8. Communicate to Fellow Riders! (We need your help to remind those who aren’t following the rules!)

All participants ride at their own risk.

Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior.
